Amy is a River Valley Service Unit Manager and co-leader of her great niece's troop. Amy's adult Girl Scout member journey began when she was asked to fill in as a troop leader for her daughters' Brownie troop. Since then, Amy has filled several roles within the River Valley Service Unit such as treasurer, troop leader, community engagement specialist, and so much more.
Volunteerism is a word that comes to mind when considering the hard work and effort that Amy embodies within every Girl Scout endeavor she takes on. In her own words, being a troop leader has been "an extremely rewarding and fun" experience in which she enjoys watching her Girl Scouts try new things and grow as individuals.
Known for her diligence and commitment to getting each task she accepts done with heart and to the best of her ability, Amy ensures that River Valley troops, Girl Scouts, and volunteers are always in good hands. Thank you for always being the first to step up to take on any challenge, role, or task, no matter how big or small, Amy. Girl Scouts of Maine is extremely lucky to have you and proud to honor you with this achievement!
