The Girl Scout Fall Product Program allows girls and troops to earn startup money to blast into the new Girl Scout year!
By participating in the program, girls can develop valuable skills, including customer service, organizing, creative problem-solving, money handling, marketing savvy, and goal setting.
Girls taking part in the program earn special badges and rewards and can work towards earning a FREE adventure!
Girls can sell candy, nuts & magazines, and more in person and online using our online sales platform, M2. In M2, the girls can upload their photo, create an avatar, create their sales pitch, and share a special voice message with their customers.
Girl Scouts can choose to participate in the program via the paper order card, online via the M2 sales platform, or both!
Nuts/Candy In-Person:
Nuts/Candy Online Girl Delivered:
Nuts/Candy Online Direct-Ship with an expanded selection of products:
Mags and More (online only)
Please remember that marketplace sales via Facebook Marketplace, Amazon, eBay, Next Door, Craigslist, etc., are NOT allowed.
Girls participating in the Fall Product Program may call, text, and send emails to alert friends and family to their product sale and accept customer commitments via email, text, or telephone.
All girls should have a hands-on role in marketing their business. Girls of all ages should partner with their parents, guardians, or caregivers to develop a plan to market their business online safely.
Parents sharing via their personal social media should state that their Girl Scout is selling fall product and share how to reach them to place an order.
Parents/guardians should do the posting for girls under the age of 13. Girls 13 or older may use social networking sites to market products but must follow council and GSUSA guidelines. When girls are marketing online, members should only use their first name, troop number, and council name. Personal emails or street addresses of girls should never be used to contact or respond to customers.
Let’s get started!
Download and complete the Juliette Permission Form. Please send a signed copy to customercare@gsmaine.org.
Soon after sending in your signed permission form, you’ll receive an email introducing you to your local product program volunteer. They’ll be your primary resource for the program. This email will also have other necessary resources, including a digital copy of the nut order card. We’ll also send you hard copies of your nut order card and deposit tickets in the mail.
Join GSME’s Girl Boss Buzz Facebook group to learn and share about the program and other Girl Scout successes.
On September 13th, you can access the M2 site here. Need help or have questions? Please contact M2 Customer Service or GSME’s Customer Care.
In M2, you’ll watch a video with your Girl Scout, set up her sale site, help her create her avatar, and send emails to customers.
Girl Scouts can take in-person orders from family, friends, and neighbors and receive online orders generated from the emails she has sent out.
Download and print your paper order card. Your service unit Fall Product Program volunteer will have hard copies if you’d like one.
Girl Scouts will collect payment from customers who place orders using the paper order card. Deposit all payments from in-person orders to Bangor Savings Bank or KeyBank using the deposit slip copies you received in your email welcome packet. You MUST send a digital copy (photo or scan) of the deposit ticket and receipt to your local product program volunteer by the end of the day on November 1st! Orders will NOT be entered into M2 if payment confirmation is not received.
Please note that we do not recommend accepting checks from any customers, but if you decide to accept checks from people you know, be sure to list their phone numbers on the check so that you can contact them if there is a problem with their check.
Check with your service unit supervisor for the date and time of nut and candy pick-up. Products will be delivered to service units by November 23, 2024. You will be asked to count to make sure you received everything you needed and will need to sign saying all was received.
Be sure to attend the Fall Product Program troop training by your leaders to learn about the benefits of the Fall Product Program and all the details on how you can help your Girl Scout and her troop succeed! You’ll also receive all necessary paper forms from your troop leader.

Troop volunteers must attend their service unit training for the Fall
Product Program. You will learn about the program and receive
documents for your Girl Scouts and families at that training.
Troops need to have a bank account to participate in the
program. If your troop bank information is not on file, complete this Troop Bank Information Form and
submit it to your volunteer support specialist.
On
September 6th, leaders will be given early access to M2.
If you have not received an email
invitation to access the M2 site by September 6, 2024, please visit www.gsnutsandmags.com/admin and select “Forgot
your password?”. If you need further assistance, please email GSME Customer Care or M2
Customer Service.
Leaders, please check your troop
rosters. If your roster is not accurate, please contact us at customercare@gsmaine.org.
You will be prompted to complete certain account information,
as applicable—watch a short system training video, enter a mailing
address, create your Avatar, and send access emails to the
participants in your troop.
Your Girl Scout caregivers will be given access to M2 on September 13th.
Please be sure you’ve given Girl Scouts their Fall Product Program
packets and trained caregivers on the program's and the M2 system's
benefits.
Caregivers should sign GSME’s
Annual Permission Form so their child can participate in the
product programs. Please file these in a safe location. You do not
need to forward them to the Product Program team unless there is an
issue with funds collection.
Girl Scouts will collect money for their paper card orders upfront and must give their leaders the money no later than November 1st when they submit their paper order card.
If you do not receive the payments by November 1st, do NOT
place the order and reach out to your service unit supervisor right
away.
Please note that we do not recommend accepting
checks from any customers, but if you decide to accept checks from
people you know, be sure to have a phone number and driver’s license
number listed on the check so that you can contact them if there is a
problem with their check.
Deposit all money into your
troop bank account and keep all receipts!
The amount owed
to GSME will be deducted via an ACH debit on November 13, 2024.
The amount due is calculated automatically in M2, and you can
find the balance due by clicking the “Banking and Payments” link on
your troop dashboard. You will see an overview of your troop's sales
and proceeds information. The “Reports” link shows even more detail.
View the "Troop Orders Report" or download your troop’s
delivery ticket and toggle on financial information for another
view.
The money for all online orders shows as already
paid to the council, and the final ACH will be adjusted so that the
troop can earn proceeds on these sales.
Leaders must enter any orders not entered by parents into M2 no later than November 2nd.

The Care to Share Program is a great way for customers to give back to our troops! Girls collect share donations, and Ashdon Farms, on behalf of Girl Scouts of Maine, delivers the product to Operation Gratitude.
Each donation is credited to the girls’ sales, and the troop receives proceeds for each donation sold. Girls can earn the Care to Share patch by selling 5+ Share donations.
My girls are attempting to register and get a “Campaign is Currently Unavailable” message.
I entered the email addresses to send access notifications to the girls in my troop, but they haven’t sent them yet. It says, “Queued for Sending.” How long does it take to send them?
I forgot to enter my Girl Scout’s paper order card by the deadline of 11:59 p.m. EST on 11/1/24.
I am a volunteer, and my daughter is participating. Can I use the same email address for my volunteer and girl accounts?
One of my girls received an online girl-delivered order that the family is unable to deliver. How do I remove it?
My girl received/entered orders that put her over the next reward threshold, but the system isn’t showing that she earned the reward.
