This 100-acre nature oasis with woods, wetlands, and streams is a wonderful place for your troop or group to experience the outdoors and hone their camping skills. Located just a quick 15 miles from Augusta on Lovejoy Pond, Camp Kirkwold offers an easily accessible location for your next outdoor adventure.
Offering tent shelter campsites, a cozy lodge, lake views, and picnic shelters, Camp Kirkwold is an ideal destination for groups seeking a memorable outdoor experience. Open for rentals in May, September, and October, Camp Kirkwold will be a stunning setting for your group to connect with nature and each other. Girl Scouts of Maine has entered into a long-term lease with The Summer Camp to host it’s overnight camp programming from Camp Kirkwold during the summer months.

Camp Kirkwold troop rentals are available on various dates after Labor Day to mid-October.
