I really want my friend to go to camp with me, but she isn't a Girl Scout. Can she come? toggle arrow

Of course! Our Girl Scout camps are open to all girls—membership is not required. If you register as a non-member, the extra camp fee includes a Girl Scout membership through September 2026. This gives you full membership benefits, including access to programs, resources, discounts, and opportunities.

Do I need to make a registration fee when I register? toggle arrow

Yes, all registrations require a $40 non-refundable registration deposit.

But I've been working on the Adventure Challenge. Do I still pay a deposit? toggle arrow

Yes, you still need to submit a $40 registration fee to hold a spot in the session that you want, so register early. Once we know you've earned your free session at camp, we will refund your $40 registration fee or apply it to your balance, depending on the camp session you choose.

It's important to know that the Adventure Challenge entitles you to up to the value of a one-week Classic Camp session. If you complete the Free Adventure Challenge and choose a camp session with a higher cost, we will apply the value of a Classic Camp session to your chosen session, and you will be responsible for the remaining balance. This reward must be used at a GSME camp during the summer of 2026. It cannot be carried over to another year.

When is all the money due? toggle arrow

Camp balances must be paid in full by June 15, 2026. Any new camp registrations received on or after June 15 will require full payment at the time of registration.

How can I pay? toggle arrow

We accept credit cards, money orders, and personal checks. Cash can only be paid in person at one of our service centers—please do not mail cash.

You’ll choose your payment method and any payment plan during online registration. Any remaining balance will be automatically withdrawn from your designated account on June 15, 2026.

Can I apply for financial assistance? toggle arrow

Girl Scouts of Maine has a small amount of financial assistance, called camperships, set aside to help families who need it to send their girl to camp. All girls registered for camp may apply for a Girl Scouts of Maine campership–another great reason to be a registered Girl Scout!

How do I apply for a campership? toggle arrow

To ensure all girls can benefit from the transformative experience of Girl Scout Camp, Girl Scouts of Maine makes financial aid (camperships) available for all girls (age 17 and under) to partially or fully cover the cost of camp tuition. Camperships can be requested through our online registration system by completing the campership application after registering for camp. Families are expected to pay a $40 deposit per session upon registration.

OK, I’ve registered. What’s next? toggle arrow

All registration confirmations and camp communications are sent via email and important information is always available in your CamplnTouch account. Please make sure you use a current email address when you register so you will receive all updates and reminders. You don’t want to miss any important information! Need to update your email or aren't sure which one you used in CampInTouch previously? Contact Customer Care at 888-922-4763.

What do I need to do before camp? (Note: Deadline for forms has been changed.) toggle arrow

All required forms and documents must be submitted by June 15, 2026.* All campers need to provide a current immunization record, and resident campers must have had a physical exam within 12 months of their camp attendance date. All required forms are in your CampInTouch account under Forms & Documents.

*If your physical exam falls between June 1st and your camp start date, please provide your physical exam form two weeks before your camp session.

What if I don't have access to a computer or the internet? toggle arrow

Call Customer Care at 888-922-4763 for any assistance in registering.
