What are the ways that customers can buy cookies? toggle arrow

This year, customers can purchase their favorite Girl Scout Cookies in three ways:

Directly from a Girl Scout: in person or through her online link. Pre-pay online and choose “Girl Delivery” to avoid shipping fees.
Online Direct Ship: order through the Girl Scouts’ Digital Cookie® link for shipped-to-home delivery.
At Cookie Booths starting March 15, 2026.

How can customers buy cookies online? toggle arrow

Using the Digital Cookie® platform, Girl Scouts will be able to take in-person orders using their cell phones on the Digital Cookie® website. Girls can also send specialized e-cards to their customers with a link to order cookies online. Customers can place their order, enter their credit card information safely, and have their order shipped directly to their house, or they can choose to have the cookies delivered by a Girl Scout within 2 weeks. An important note is that this email link must come directly from the girl. If you forward the email to a friend, the link will no longer work.

Today’s girls are technology whizzes, and they wanted a cookie program that can teach them twenty-first-century skills in twenty-first-century ways—skills they’ll need to have to be leaders in today’s high-tech world. In addition to helping girls build the 5 Skills of the traditional Girl Scout Cookie Program—goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics—Digital Cookie® will teach e-marketing, online commerce, website usage, digital order taking, and shipping—all vital activities for modern business and modern life! In keeping with the spirit of learning these skills, it is important to note that customers can only order cookies from a Girl Scout, whether it’s in person when they place their order, visit a booth sale, or receive an email from a Girl Scout inviting them to order online.

What kind of cookies can customers order? Is there a limit? toggle arrow

Customers can order their favorites in any quantity. There are no minimum orders or limits.

How much is shipping? toggle arrow

Digital Cookie’s shipping fees have been reduced for 2026. The minimum order for shipping is 4 packages. The base shipping price is $11.99 for 4-8 packages and $13.99 for 9-12 packages. Below is a list of shipping costs for cookie orders at different levels.

13 packages of cookies: tier B (12) + tier A (1) = $25.98
25 packages of cookies: tier B x 2 (24) + tier A (1) = $39.97

$5 surcharge to orders shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO/DPO, Guam, and US Virgin Islands

How long will it take for a customer to receive their cookies? toggle arrow

About two weeks. Once their order is placed, customers will receive emails, keeping them updated on the order process–one to say their order was received, a second to say their order is being processed, and a third to say that their order has been shipped.

Who gets the funds? toggle arrow

Here is how the cookie crumbles: up to $1.20 from every box of cookies is retained by the troop and 7 cents is retained by the service unit. Once the bakery has been paid for the cookies, the remainder of the proceeds are retained by the council to fund services provided to girls and leaders, such as program activities, financial help for girls, subsidies for the cost of camp, training resources, and support for volunteers.

Do the cookies sold online count towards the number girls need to earn the summer adventure? toggle arrow

YES! Girls working towards earning the Adventure Challenge must individually sell a certain number of packages during the Girl Scout Cookie Program, depending on their tier choice.

Individual sales include door-to-door sales, online girl-delivered orders, direct ship orders, and Cookie Cart sales.

Can they be shipped to military addresses? toggle arrow

An additional $5 per order applies to shipments made to APO/FPO boxes.
