This month we celebrate and recognize Chris, a volunteer, troop leader, and Sapphire Service Unit manager from Monticello.
As a former leader of her daughter’s troop and current leader of her granddaughter’s troop, Chris has been active within Girl Scouts for a large portion of her life. In fact, if you asked her, she would tell you that joining the organizations has been one of her best decisions.
Over the course of her involvement, Chris has made memories that will last a lifetime, even visiting Girl Scout World Centers with her daughter (a trip she hopes to recreate soon with her granddaughter)!
Serving as a wealth of knowledge and an enthusiastic lending hand, Chris ensures that the spirit and culture of Girl Scouts is alive and well in her tight-knit service unit. Not only does Chris stay busy planning events and organizing unique programs for her unit, she also has an unwavering dedication to her troop. She makes sure that tradition, kindness, and empowerment are all at the forefront of her leadership style.
We thank you, Chris, for being a the glue that keeps Sapphire Service Unit thriving, and for your genuine embodiment of the Girl Scout mission. Congratulations, Girl Scouts of Maine is incredibly lucky to have you!
