Congratulations to Mariah Havens, our Volunteer of the Month for March!
Mariah has long been involved with Girl Scouts of Maine (GSME), officially becoming a lifetime member in 2016. Over the years, Mariah has held several integral roles spanning from leadership in her Diamond Service Unit area, to employee training positions at Camp Natarswi since 2008. Although Mariah offers countless talents and skills to our organization, fellow volunteers especially appreciate Mariah’s attention to Camp Natarwsi’s waterfront. Thanks to her, Girl Scouts always have access to safe, reliable, and fun water-based activities.
Currently, Mariah serves as Diamond’s service unit manager and leads troop 709 in her hometown of Limestone. Mariah holds a wealth of knowledge for new volunteers in her area and ensures that her service unit runs smoothly. Through helping her Girl Scouts and fellow volunteers alike reach their goals, Mariah has left an irreplaceable mark on GSME.
Mariah represents everything we strive for as a network of adults committed to helping girls reach their highest potential, and we are beyond grateful for her efforts!
