We are thrilled to recognize Beth Darling as our Volunteer of the Month!
Beth has been an active member of Girl Scouts for many years in several different roles. Most recently, Beth has been helping our Customer Care team during a very busy season full of new Girl Scouts and exciting transitions. Beth has also recently returned to the role of troop leader, this time with her granddaughter’s troop, which she has been volunteering with for the past two years.
In addition to her many other commitments, Beth is always willing to share her vast Girl Scout knowledge with other leaders. Just this past June Beth presented on the topic of “Girl Scout Ceremonies and Traditions” at the New Leader Q&A. Beth also recorded two informational interviews this fall, one on Girl Scout Flag Ceremonies and one on Girl Scouts and Parades. Beth is a true Girl Scout at heart and embodies what it means to live with courage, confidence, and character. And we can say with confidence that Beth certainly makes the world a better place by being in it!
