14 Girl Scouts from all across the state set sail and went out to Casco Bay. Throughout the trip the Girl Scouts dove into the science of the coast, collecting water samples from the bay, exploring a mini touch tank with hermit crabs, shells, and more, and learning all about Maine aquaculture.
The excitement continued at Luke’s Lobster where the Girl Scouts had the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive behind the scenes tour and had the chance to get up close with live lobsters! It was an incredibly eventful morning and the girls were really intrigued about how lobstering works. The Girl Scouts were eagerly raising their hands, asking thoughtful questions, and confidently sharing their ideas with no fear of being wrong.
