Future Leaders Scholarship Recipient, Leah Cromarty
A Bronze Level Future Leaders Scholarship is awarded to Leah Cromarty of Westbrook.
Leah is a recent graduate of Westbrook High School and plans to attend the University of Maine to major in Biochemistry. One of the biggest challenges that she sees facing girls and women today is gender equality in the workforce especially in STEM fields. She will encourage younger girls to seek a STEM education and will fight to bring equality to her work environment.
