Future Leaders Scholarship Recipient, Alyssa Ardry
A Silver Level Future Leaders Scholarship is awarded to Alyssa Ardry from Pittsfield.
Alyssa is a recent graduate of Maine Central Institute and plans to attend Boston University to major in Engineering. One of the biggest challenges that she sees facing girls and women today is gender discrimination in healthcare. After earning a biomedical engineering degree, she will attend medical school and raise awareness for girls and women about the gender bias that exists.
