Buddy Benches
Girl Scouts in Troop 1240 built 3 buddy benches for 3 different schools, including Reiche Community School, Presumpscot Elementary, and Lyseth Elementary.
The girls decided to build buddy benches because they are a place for students to sit on to find others who want to play but are having trouble finding groups they can join.
The Girl Scouts researched different types of benches, created material lists, and presented their proposal to the leadership teams of each school.
Once the project was approved, the girls prepped the wood, built the benches, and painted them beautifully.
