Over the past 30 years, Cheryl has been a guiding light for Girl Scouts and volunteers across the state. As someone with much skill and experience under her belt, she has held numerous impressive roles. Currently, Cheryl is a Downeast Service Unit roster administrator, fall product sales supervisor, cookie product sales supervisor, and cupboard supervisor. Additionally, she leads a multi-level troop of Girl Scout Brownies through Ambassadors.
Throughout her time as troop leader, Cheryl has led two Girl Scouts (including her daughter!) from when they were Daisies until they were Ambassadors and has graduated at least three Girl Scouts to Adult level.
Cheryl is perhaps most known in recent years for her instrumental support during cookie season. The implementation of Digital Cookie® would not have been possible without her help.
Always eager to share her knowledge and expertise, Cheryl has even volunteered her time to hold a New Leader Q&A session to answer any questions that new volunteers and leaders had during their onboarding. Cheryl is an extremely deserving recipient of the Volunteer of the Month title, and her dedication, commitment, and inspiring work ethic when it comes to championing Girl Scouts is a true testament of that!
