Congratulations to Stephanie Michaud, our Volunteer of the Month!
Stephanie has been a Rising Star Service Unit Manager since 2017, and has been a leader of her recently graduated daughter’s Troop 2024 since she was a Daisy! Throughout her many years of service, Stephanie has built a reputation of the highest standard amongst troops in her area.
While not often the loudest in the room, Stephanie is a fierce advocate for those less fortunate, allocating special attention and compassion for those struggling. Described by her peers as someone with a strong moral compass for right and wrong, Stephanie is an extremely reliable volunteer.
Although Membership Year 2023 was intended to mark Stephanie’s retirement from the Girl Scouts, her passion for the organization meant otherwise. Not only did she agree to stay on as a service unit manager, Stephanie also revamped her troop to take in Brownies from two recently disbanded troops. Time and time again, Stephanie has proven that there isn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her fellow Girl Scout sisters, and thus we could not think a better recipient for the Volunteer of the Month title for February. Congratulations, Stephanie!
