This month, we’re celebrating Jennifer Watson, an amazing volunteer who has dedicated so much time and energy to supporting girls.
Since joining Girl Scouts in 2016 to co-lead her oldest daughter’s troop, Jennifer has become a cornerstone of the Gorham Girl Scout community. Jennifer currently co-leads three different troops, guiding Juniors, Cadettes, and bridging Seniors through unforgettable adventures.
Jennifer also serves as the Nonesuch Service Unit Delegate, mentors new leaders as part of the Learning Support Team, is a learning facilitator for Adult Learning, leading adult learning opportunities and helping with Girl programming, and supports programs as a go-to station leader.
Whether it’s mentoring, traveling, or leading in the great outdoors, Jennifer brings high energy, kindness, and inspiration to everything she does.
“I truly enjoy being a Girl Scout leader and watching the girls grow in confidence,” Jennifer said. “I also enjoy serving with all the amazing women (and men) who help young women recognize their power to make the world a better place.”
We admire Jennifer’s steady commitment and dedication to her troop and Girl Scouts! We are so grateful for her contributions to Girl Scouts of Maine.
