Congratulations Tonia Griffin, our Volunteer of the Month!
Tonia is a hardworking Downeast Service Unit manager from Pembroke. Beginning her Girl Scout journey as a troop leader more than 10 years ago, Tonia has successfully guided her Girl Scouts from Daisies to Ambassadors.
Throughout the years, Tonia has proven herself to be an essential part of the team as a consistent mentor for fellow volunteers navigating their Girl Scout journeys and a resource for new leaders. For many years, Tonia has served as a delegate for her service unit, advocating for change and reason amongst the Girl Scout community. She’s made it possible for girls around the state to travel abroad by creating and facilitating opportunities unlike any other.
Within her troop, Tonia is always on the lookout for imaginative and unconventional money-earning activities that allow her Girl Scouts to reach their goals and explore new opportunities.
