15 girls ranging from Daisies to Cadettes from the Somerset Service Unit placed over 200 flags on veterans' graves at three cemeteries in preparation for Memorial Day!
“The American Legion was so appreciative and said it’s the fastest they have ever gotten the cemeteries done,” Tracy Frost, co-leader of Troop 351 said. “So happy to share this event with you all and the girls. Really gave them a perspective of what some give for our freedom.”
Originally the event was for Troop 351, but as Tracy said, “My co-leader and I wanted to make the Girl Scout presence known in our area so we invited our entire service unit.”
Troop 351 will be attending five more Memorial Day ceremonies for flag and wreath laying! Incredible work, girls!
