Bring a Friend to Roller Skate

Nonesuch Service Unit held their annual “Bring a Friend” roller-skating event at Happy Wheels in Westbrook at the end of November. More than 100 skaters showed up, 78 of which were registered Girl Scouts!
Throughout the festivities, troops from all over Gorham, Scarborough, and Westbrook got the chance to connect with friends and make tons of new ones all while gliding on the rink.
Nonesuch also took their event as an opportunity to put on their service project, a winter donation drive.
“We collected a box of new winter hats, mittens, and water-proof gloves for a donation to the Maine Needs non-profit organization,” says Pam Irish, the Nonesuch Volunteer Program Coordinator.
