Troop 612 didn’t let the cloudy skies and chilly temps stop them from having a good time earlier this month! Four Juniors and Cadettes from the troop visited Monkey C Monkey Do aerial adventure park in Wiscasset for a full day of ropes courses, zip-lining, and having a blast dozens of feet in the air.
“Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, the girls enjoyed challenging themselves to try something new […] they didn’t let the cold, wind, and rain stop them from getting out there,” says Troop 612 Leader Danielle Salhany.
Throughout the program, the girls learned key teambuilding skills and cheered one another on with genuine enthusiasm when trying new or challenging courses.
“I had fun trying something new and meeting new friends,” says Deannica, a Junior from Troop 612.
Although the girls loved all of the program activities, “the zip line was a favorite, and the girls loved making it all the way to the top,” says Danielle, who was over the moon to see her troop collaborating, building confidence, and pushing their limits.
