Boston Bound
Five determined Junior Girl Scouts kicked off their travel journey with an action-packed weekend in Boston and Salem. Armed with carefully honed planning skills and adventurous spirits, these girls navigated public transportation like seasoned travelers. The highlight? A hands-on historical adventure at the USS Constitution Museum, where they earned their Playing the Past badge while discovering life in the 1770s through an interactive scavenger hunt. Their below-deck tour of "Old Ironsides" brought history to vivid life, marking a successful first expedition for our Travel Sisters.
Montreal Magic
Taking their passports in hand, seven Travel Sisters embarked on an unforgettable international adventure to Montreal, Quebec. After months of careful planning and successful money-earning projects, these Girl Scouts confidently stepped into a world of new languages, different currency, and exciting cultural experiences. From the breathtaking views aboard La Grande Roue at night to the serene beauty of the Botanical Gardens, every moment became a cherished memory. And let's not forget the culinary adventures - those Montreal crepes earned an enthusiastic "c'est délicieux" from our traveling troops!
Life Lessons on the Road
Travel taught our girls more than just navigation skills. They learned valuable lessons about adaptability, problem-solving, and stepping out of comfort zones. Whether it was switching to comfortable walking shoes for city exploration, trying exotic foods in different cultural neighborhoods, or turning wrong turns into unexpected adventures, these Girl Scouts discovered that sometimes the best memories come from unplanned moments.
