Future Leaders Scholarship Recipient, Grace Longanecker
A Gold Level Scholarship is awarded to Grace Longanecker of South Portland.
One of the biggest challenges that she sees facing girls and women today is discrimination and harassment in male dominated STEM careers. To help address this issue, she will introduce the idea of engineering to disadvantaged communities and to Girl Scouts and be a representative who encourages girls to explore STEM opportunities and foster a supportive environment for girls.
