Silver Award Girl Scouts, Reilly and Lilly
Girl Scouts Reilly and Lilly noticed that excessive screen time for teens particularly during the summer increased when unstructured time led to more time online. The girls discovered that the root cause of the issue is a sense of boredom and not knowing what else to do. Reilly and Lilly created a display inspiring teens and tweens to take a break from their screens during the summer. The display is filled with helpful tips, activity ideas, and craft kits that people could take home.
