Navigate Portland in the ultimate walking adventure through the
city. Start your journey by learning how to use public transportation
and then solve clues, visit the sites, and complete challenges - all
while you learn important troop travel skills. With a little friendly
competition to push you along, you'll plan out your day-trip to
Portland. Throughout the day, your team will earn points for your
selected activities and tracking your expenses.
Groups larger than 6 girls should plan to split into two (or more) patrols to ensure the day runs smoothly.
While most of the activities are free, please plan an additional $10+ per person for the selected activities (not including food and souvenirs - food does tend to be the biggest expense, but there are ways to reduce this amount with some planning and budgeting. More information will be sent about this after registration has ended).
Girls must have a family adult or troop leader to supervise them during the event. Troop Leaders: if you are registering your troop, please follow ratios of 2 adults for up to 6 girls. All girls must be of the appropriate age and registered members in order to attend.
The exact meet up time will depend on the current bus schedule at the time of the event. We typically have two start times to select from.
