Up, Up, and Away with Aviation Day!
In this exlusive event just for Girl Scouts, you'll get a hands-on look at the science of flight and what it is like to fly an airplane! There will be new experiences for all to enjoy. Check out a Civil Air Patrol Cessna Plane, learn about the many careers in aviation, explore how weather affects flights, and other scientific aspects of flight. You'll get to go on an airport tours, visit with teenagers who have had solo-flights in airplanes, and explore maps and navigation as it relates to flight.
You will be sent a packing list as well as a welcome email with all of the details prior to the event.
Troops should follow girl-to-adult ratios. Individual Girl Scouts should plan to attend with a parent or guardian.
