Girl Scout Amtrak Downeaster Discount
Girl Scouts are encouraged to take advantage of the discounted ticket prices with the Amtrak Downeaster.
Groups of 15 or more can take advantage of the Downeaster Discovery rate of $15/per passenger round trip from September to April and $19/per passenger round trip from May to August. To save even more, you may pay for your group ticket and pick it up at the Portland Amtrak station. Use the online form for group tickets.
Groups of less than 15 passengers must book directly using the Share Fare discount. You can book up to 8 passengers on one reservation, so depending on group size, you may need to book two reservations. The discount is up to 60% off all tickets–the more passengers, the more discount.
