Girls on the Go is Girl Scouts of Maine's travel troop for Cadettes and above. This unique troop offers girls leadership opportunities and cross-cultural understanding through international travel opportunities.
Who can join?
- Girls who are 7th grade Cadettes and older!
- A whole troop or an individual member of a troop
- Juliettes who are in 7th grade and up that want to travel!
Why Join Gilrs on the Go?
- Youll get to travel with your sister Girl Scouts from across the state!
- Trips are led by experienced Girl Scout Leaders.
- Youll experience international travel in a safe, interactive, fun, and exciting environment with your Girl Scout sisters!
- Joining in 7th grade allows you to explore trip options with your sister Girl Scouts, choose where were going, and plan our trip experience.
- Youll work on badges related to travel, learn and enhance skills needed for travel so that you feel prepared by the time youre ready to go on your trip.
- Longer trips cost more, joining in 7th grade ensures youll have more than enough time to earn money towards your trip through special cookie booth sales and other money earning opportunities specifically for Gilrs on the Go!
When and where does Girls on the Go meet?
- Meetings are typically held on Sunday afternoons once per month on Zoom.
