Nancy Winslow is a longtime volunteer and a lifetime member in the Sapphire Service Unit. Nancy led troop 1133 for 12 years and saw them through Daisy Girl Scouts to their graduation as ambassadors in 2021.
During her time as a troop leader, she became involved as a member of the service unit team and has held numerous leadership roles and provided mentorship to other leaders and troops. In recognition of her contributions, Nancy has been a recipient of the Volunteer of Excellence award.
Though her troop has graduated, she continues to contribute as a mentor, leader, and role model within her service unit. Nancy can be counted on to lend a hand wherever she is needed! As the fall product sales supervisor and the cookie supervisor, Nancy provides training, mentoring, and encouragement for troop leaders to conduct successful sales. She is also the cookie cupboard supervisor and assists troops with scheduling and conducting booth sales. Her organization keeps sales running smoothly and is greatly appreciated. Nancy orchestrated a community wide scavenger cookie hunt in anticipation of cookie season, getting girls, leaders, parents, and the entire community excited about the upcoming cookie season!
Nancy always gives 110%, shows up with a smile, and is a wonderful asset to her service unit and community. Thank you for everything you do, Nancy!
