Troop Camp Preparation Training
An adult is troop camp trained when she/he has completed both Troop Camp Preparation and Troop Camp Training Overnight. One adult per troop must take both courses before taking a troop camping; this includes camporees.

Participants learn how to work with girls to plan and develop the skills needed for a successful camping trip. Course includes girl/adult partnership and the camping experience, progression skills, what to pack, environmental practices and problem solving.

Non-leaders may take this class to become the troop camp trained adult for the troop.  However, non-leaders must work in partnership with the leader who has had Leadership Essentials, both to prepare girls and to accompany them on the camping trip.  Bring pen, paper and Safety-Wise.
