Teen Advisor Training
The Teen Advisor training module is recommended for adults working with GS Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador level girls.
At least one member of the leadership team must complete Leadership Essentials or Teen Advisor training before traveling beyond the usual meeting site. Along with learning about trips and travel guidelines, participants in Teen Advisor training are introduced to a broad array of resources and awards offered exclusively to 11 - 17 years-old Girl Scouts.
Also discussed are communication techniques, creative meeting management, and ideas for supporting teen girls in their individuality as they face academic goals, a desire for adventure or travel, community service projects, and whatever else interests them.
