One Week Programs

Appie Hikers                      Cost: $300                  Ages: 12-17            Dates: July 20-25
People from all over the world come to Maine to hike the Appalachian Trail. You can too! Learn what it takes to be a backpacker. Take day hikes in and around Baxter State Park.

Blast into the Past            Cost: $300                  Ages: 9-11              Date: July 13-18 & August 3-8
Your unit will blast back in time as you become a pioneer in the 1800’s. Experience that time period while cooking, dipping candles, making ice cream, learning old games and crafts. How was life in the 1800’s? You’ll find out as you transform your site into the day of the pioneers of our country.

Camp Mania                       Cost: $300                  Ages: 12-14            Date: July 13-18
Celebrate the highlights of Natarswi as you hike Mount Katahdin, paddle a kayak, sing camp songs, hit the bull’s eye, do some rock climbing or jump into Lower Togue Pond. At Camp Mania you get the opportunity to do all the things that makes Natarswi great. Share your week with new and old friends.

Dabblers                             Cost: $300                  Ages: 8-10              Date: July 13-18
Try a little bit of everything in this weeklong sampler session. Go swimming and boating, take a nature hike, learn some new games, work on arts and crafts, and more. This program has it all, including campfires, songs, marshmallows, and fun.

Forest Fairies                    Cost: $300                  Ages: 8-9                 Date: August 3-8
Spend a week of imagination and fun as you explore the woods and fields. Discover butterflies, build fairy houses, and explore flowers, trees, birds and create art you discover. Plus water activities, camp fires and more.

Fun in the Sun                  Cost: $300                  Ages: 8-9                 Date: August 10-15
Have fun in the sun in this introductory camp program for new campers. Girls will cook a meal outdoors, learn campfire songs, swim, go boating, do camp crafts, archery and rock climbing. It’s a great way to make new friends and learn about camp.

In a Flash                            Cost: $325                  Ages: 13-17            Date: July 13-18
Express yourself with photography and creative writing. Photograph the great scenery at Natarswi and your new friends, then develop your pictures in the Natarswi darkroom. Be sure to save time for the other activities you love like swimming, rock climbing, boating and hiking.

Iron Chef                             Cost: $300                  Ages: 10-11            Date: July 20-25
Would you like to fine-tune your camp cooking skills by using cooking devises such as a Dutch oven, a box stove or solar oven? You will eat like a queen as you master the art of outdoor cooking. Come to camp and learn that there is more to outdoor cooking than mac and cheese and s’mores!

Junior Outdoor Fun          Cost: $300                  Ages: 10-11           Date: August 3-8
There’s no limit to the fun you will have when you come to camp as a Junior Girl Scout! Try canoeing, hiking, rock climbing, outdoor cooking and more. You will find plenty of new friends here at camp.

Just for you                         Cost: $300                  Ages: 12-14           Date: August 3-8
Facials, hot rocks, natural cosmetics, and treatments, healthy eating, yoga and lots of friendships. Before and after you pamper yourself, enjoy all the activities camp offers.

Kayak Kids                           Cost: $300                  Ages: 12-14          Date: July 13-18
If you love boating, Kayak Kids is for you. Spend most of your time in a kayak or canoe and do all the fun Camp Natarswi activities too!

Nature Detective                 Cost: $300                  Ages: 9-10             Date: July 27-8/1
Discover and become acquainted with your natural surroundings, identify plants, animals and tracks. Hike some trails, create a nature craft and enjoy the other activities camp offers like boating, swimming, biking, climbing and the list goes on. Share the natural beauty of nature at camp with your new friends.

Splish Splash                      Cost: $300                  Ages: 12-17           Date: July 27 - August 1
Love the water? Come to camp and cool off in the water, boat around the pond, work on your water related IPP’s or just perfect your boating and swimming skills. This week at camp is for all us girls who just can’t get enough of playing in the water. While you are drying off, take some time to explore the other activities that camp has to offer.

Twist & Tie Dye                   Cost: $300                  Ages: 10-12           Date: August 10-15
Explore a different type of art each day – discover different colors in nature, make natural dyes and tie dye your work of art. You can also choose to work with beads, leather or even try candle making, basket weaving or making some jewelry. Let your imagination guide you as you create your art your way!

Waterbugs                            Cost: $300                  Ages: 8-9               Date: July 20-25
A whole week of water fun for you! Swim and splash every day. Try canoeing, water games and plan your own beachfront activities! Plus enjoy all the other fun camp has to offer - hiking, archery, campfires and s’mores to name just a few.

Water Logged                      Cost: $300                  Ages: 10-11           Date: August 3-8 & August 10-15
If you love the water this one is for you! Spend extra time boating, swimming and exploring fun on the pond.
