Mini-Camps at Camp
Natarswi
Mini-Camp With Meal Plan (WMP)
At this Mini-Camp you have use of the site and facilities and
specialty staff will be offering sessions that may include; boating,
swimming, rock climbing or archery. You will also have use of the
site and facilities to carry out the programs your troop has
planned. When you arrive at camp you may sign up for activities and
kapers at the evening information meeting. The activities could
include swimming, boating, biking, archery, campfire, rock climbing,
arts and crafts, service projects, flag ceremonies and more. We also
offer meals at an additional cost per meal selected. Plan your time
at camp so you can cook out some of your meals or join us in the
dining hall. This option does not mean you have to eat in the dining
hall – only that it is available for you. You may choose to cook all
your own meals. You will need to indicate your meal choice on the
registration form. The cost of Mini-Camp WMP is $25.00 per person
plus cost of meals.
Mini-Camp on Your Own (OYO)
This camp is a new alternative that is being offered during resident
camp dates. At these Mini-Camps you are responsible for your own
meals in your unit. Because this is being offered during resident
camp these Mini-Camps are for females only. If you chose this option
you will still have the opportunity to sign up for specialty
sessions with trained staff in activities like boating, swimming,
rock climbing or archery. You will also have your unit area and use
of other parts of the camp to carry out the programs your troop has
planned. When you arrive at camp you may sign up for activities and
kapers at the evening information meeting. The activities could
include: swimming, boating, biking, archery, campfire, rock
climbing, arts and crafts, service projects, flag ceremonies and
more. The cost of Mini Camp OYO is $25.00 per person.
Mini-Camp No Planned Program (NPP)
This camp is a new alternative that is being offered this season. At
these Mini-Camps you are responsible for your own meals in your unit
and all of your own programming. At these sessions there will be a
weekend director at camp but there will not be specialty staff or
instructors. Therefore if you want to swim you will need to have a
lifeguard with you. You will have use of the site and facilities to
carry out the programs your troop has planned. When you arrive at
camp you may sign up for kapers at the evening information meeting.
The cost of Mini-Camp NPP is $20.00 per person.
All mini-camps are for Girl Scout troops with the exception of the
WMP mini-camps on June 13-15 and September 19-21. If you have a girl
or adult with special needs please let us know what accommodations
you require to make your stay at camp more comfortable. List any
food allergies you have if you will be eating in the dining hall. If
your troop has a male who is the leader or chaperone, please make a
note on your registration form so accommodations can be made.
