Who Can Be a Junior Girl Scout?

  • The recommended age level for Juniors is 4th through 6th grades.

  • Girls of all races, cultures, and religious groups.

  • Any girl who agrees to try to live by the Girl Scout Promise and Girl Scout Law.

You look around at new and interesting things and think, "I'd like to try that"? That's what Junior Girl Scouting is all about. As a Junior Girl Scout, you can:

  • Try your hand at everything from photography and dramatics to fashion and computers.

  • Sharpen you outdoor living skills on weekend camping trips or at summer camp.

  • Tour backstage at a musical or a play.

  • Lead a bicycle safety workshop in your community.

  • Investigate local history and learn about the women and men who helped to shape your hometown.

  • Participate in GirlSports activities.
