Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting Update

The new Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting is a best seller!  Girls across the country love it and we hope the Girl Scouts in your troop have had an opportunity to look through the Girl’s Guide and are eager to get started on the materials.

Haven’t yet purchased?  Don’t delay, order today!   Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting is so popular that GSUSA’s supplier is having difficulty keeping up with the overwhelming demand! Our next shipment of Junior through Ambassador level  Girl’s Guides is due in December. Girl Scouts who have back-ordered their Guides will have priority, so please order yours as soon as possible. When the Guides arrive, we’ll let you know and you will be at the head-of-the-line!  You’ll be able pick-up your order at the council shop or request shipping for an additional fee.

While your Guide is on order, begin your Girl Scout experience by working on a Journey book of your choice.  Also, you can purchase a new Skill Building Badge Activity Set that works with your Journey book (Activity Sets are due to arrive in the shops in early October). The Activity Sets expand the Journey leadership experience by encouraging girls to earn five badges that tie into the Journey theme. If you need more information on the Journey or the coordinating Activity Set, just call your membership manager or the shop managers in Bangor or South Portland.  We are here to help!

Thank you for your enthusiastic response to the new program materials.  We appreciate your support and your commitment to helping girls gain the courage, confidence, and character they need to reach heights they have only imagined!
