Director of Human Resources and Governance Support

The Director of Human Resources and Governance Support manages the council’s human resources function including assisting management staff with effective recruitment, retention, training, orientation and development of high performing council staff.  The Director helps to administer health and welfare benefits; employee relations; personnel policies; and maintains confidential employee files and records.

Additionally, this position is responsible for the administrative stewardship of the Board of Directors and maintains all corporate records and documents for legal and historical purposes.  

Office hours are 8 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Shop hours vary.  This is a 35-hour work week; additional work hours may be required on Fridays, Saturday or Sundays.
