Information Systems & Customer Care Specialist
The Girl Scouts of Maine (GSME) has an
open full-time position for an Information Systems & Customer Care
Specialist in our South Portland, Maine Service Center. The
Information Systems and Customer Care Specialist is responsible for
timely, accurate entry of membership, camp and program registrations
and payments received. The position prepares weekly on call folders,
provides backup for accounts payable, maintains troop banking
information, and assists internal and external customers with
obtaining Girl Scout insurances.
The Information Systems & Customer Care Specialist is responsible for serving as a point of contact for incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, web or in person and for providing exceptional customer service throughout all customer interactions. She/he records all inquiries within Salesforce Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) system and is fluent in case management processes and guidelines.
This position is office-based with a 35 hour work week (Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.); may be required to work outside of normal business hours occasionally.
The Recruitment Specialist is a sales
position with responsibilities for the recruitment of Girl Scout adult
volunteers (troop leaders) and girl members throughout the
Bangor/Northeastern region of Maine including Hancock, Piscataquis and
Washington Counties. She/he will achieve territorial recruitment/sales
goals through planning and presenting at recruitment events year-round
including school open houses, Discover Girl Scout events for parents
and girls, community fairs and festivals, public speaking engagements,
presentations to businesses, and networking within professional
organizations. She/he will recruit, train and oversee volunteer
recruiters to assist within the territory. She/he is responsible for
lead generation and follow-up and working with other departments
within Girl Scouts of Maine (GSME) to convert the leads to troop
leaders or girl members.
This 35 hour per week position is 50% office and 50% field-based, and frequent travel, along with evening and weekend work, is required.
