Summer Opportunities
Girls Scouts of Maine operates
four summer camps varying in size, location and program
offerings. Below is a list of employment opportunities for the 2008

Summer Positions:

Assistant Business Manager
- Purchase supplies, perform office duties, keep accurate records,
customer service, drive
on
trips.
This is a six week position. Must be 21 or older
with valid driver's license (Natarswi)

Nurse
- Perform first aid and nursing duties, supervise health and safety,
maintain health center. RN, LPN. Valid driver's license (Natarswi)
·
Waterfront Director
- Current WSI and Lifeguard certification
-Teach,
train, supervise campers and aquatic staff, coordinate schedule

Waterfront Assistant
- Current WSI or Lifeguard certification

Teach swimming and/or small crafts, lifeguard

Unit Leader
- Supervise staff, teach and guide campers in planning and carrying
out creative program (Natarswi)

Unit Assistant
- Teach and guide campers in planning and carrying out creative
program (Natarswi & Pondicherry)

Cook
- Prepare food and assist in
clean up
