Volunteers Needed at Girl Scout Camp!
Share your talents and skills with girls while enjoying the magic of camp! Just as in our year round program, adult volunteers help make the summer camp experience a success. Our volunteer schedule is flexible and training is provided prior to camp. Please note volunteers are required to attend the entirety of staff week to qualify.
Candidates must be at least 25 years of age, enjoy working with children, and willing to complete a Girl Scout Volunteer application, interview with the camp director, provide references and pass a background check. Staff volunteer positions are limited and selections are made by the camp director based on need and experience. To learn more, contact the Girl Scouts of Maine Camping Services Department at (888) 922-4763 or via email at arandall@gsmaine.org.
Helping Hands Weekend at Camp Natarswi
Calling all carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and anyone who is willing to volunteer! Helping Hands is a working weekend where everyone pitches in to keep Camp Natarswi in tip-top shape before and following the camping season. We provide housing, meals and some free time to enjoy one of Maine’s greatest treasures, Baxter State Park. This is an adult event. To sign up, please contact the GSME Program Registrar at 1-888-922-4763, or email programregistrar@gsmaine.org.
