Camp Natarswi a 30 acre rustic camp is located within the boundaries of Baxter State Park about 18 miles from Millinocket. With the Appalachian Trail and Mt. Katahdin at its doorstep, Natarswi offers a true north woods experience with many opportunities to explore one of the greatest gifts given to Maine’s people, Baxter State Park, which has over 200,000 acres of trails forests, ponds and streams.
This seasonal site has 7 campsites (5 sites have platform tents, 1 has 3 small cabins, 1 has 4 adirondack shelters), a large dining hall that can seat 150-175, two program buildings, a picnic shelter, and flush toilets. It has a sand beach on Lower Togue Pond and an archery range. Most of the campsites are located around the pond with spectacular views of Mt. Katahdin.
Natarswi is open from late May to early October. In the summer, Natarswi hosts a resident camp led by trained staff and serves girls 7-17. In June, August and September it hosts several mini camp weekends for troops. Natarswi is available for troops and groups at all other times it is open.

From North or South on I-95, take the Medway exit and turn toward Millinocket.
Follow the signs to Baxter State Park. It is 17 miles to camp.
Camp Natarswi is located on the Baxter State Park access road right after the first of a series of speed bumps.
