Financial assistance for Girl Scouts of Maine camp programs is available through
our Campership Fund. Camperships are for Girl Scouts of Maine members who, without this assistance, could not attend camp.
Camperships are awarded based on financial need. When applying for financial assistance, please make sure to fully complete your application to ensure proper proccesing. All requests for assistance remain strictly confidential.
Who is eligible for financial assistance?
Any registered Girl Scout, who is planning to attend day, resident, Mom and Me, Dad and Me or Family camp and could not attend without financial assistance, is eligible.
How do I apply?
You can apply for a Campership online once you've completed your camp registration. You will receive information on how to complete a Campership Request form once you've completed your registration.
Financial assistance is given on a first come, first served basis until all of the current year’s available assistance has been awarded.Applicants will be notified by of the decision made by the Campership Fund Committee. If you receive a campership and you cannot pay the balance or should you be denied a campership and cannot pay the balance, your deposit will be refunded - provided we receive your written cancellation one month prior to your program.
