It's time for the Fall Product Sale!



To support your favorite Girl Scout, all you have to do is renew a magazine subscription, order some books, or some of those yummy nuts and candies. When you do, you’ll be helping troops earn money they can use throughout the year. The sale also benefits
Girl Scouts of Maine so that we can continue to provide support services for both leaders and girls.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1

  • Families and friends browse through the catalog for all of the magazine and book selections available.
  • Complete the order form and attach check (payable to GSME) for the amount due.
  • Orders for libraries or foreign addresses can not be processed and will be returned to you.
  • Reminder: three orders to same address can be placed on one order form.

Step 2

  • Help your Girl Scout complete the Step 2 booklet.
  • List family and friends who live far away and did not have the opportunity to order during Step 1.
  • All address forms in the booklet must be filled out with complete name and mailing addresses in order to qualify.
  • Limit ONE ADDRESS form PER HOUSEHOLD and one booklet per girl.

Step 3

  • Click the "Be a Reader" logo to the right to link to QSP.
  • Girls will then complete the interactive learning activity.  (Keep password in a safe place so you can return later.)
  • Once finished with the activity, girls will input email addresses either by uploading their address book or simply by typing them in.  The girl and her family will be able to track the subscriptions sold.
  • All girls participating with a minimum of 12 emails sent will receive a special patch and any orders received will count towards incentives and troop proceeds.
  • EMAILS SHOULD BE SENT IMMEDIATELY to give customers a chance to look over the selections and place their order in time for the due date.
  • QSP does not rent or sell email addresses or use them for any other purposes.
  • Girls will then need to run a copy of the DETAILED ORDER REPORT to prove the emails sent (for patch) and to show the orders placed (for troop proceeds and girl incentives).

Step 4

  • Families and friends look over order card for all of the Nut and Candy selections that are available.
  • Be sure to collect payment at this time. (Note: Specialty Tins are $7.00 each; all others are $5.00 each.)
  • Orders must be placed on time as there will be NO LATE ORDERS ACCEPTED.

Here are the deadlines:

  • Step 4 products delivered to leaders: mid-November
  • Step 4 products due to girls: before Thanksgiving
  • Incentives due to girls: with products, before Thanksgiving

Take the Ten Step Camp Challenge!

This summer, over 260 girls enjoyed a FREE week at Girl Scout Camp!  They went swimming, boating, hiking, and rock climbing.  They learned about nature, practiced their camping skills, and enjoyed S’mores by the campfire with their new friends.
