Let’s widen our circle. Each one reach one.

Introducing three ways to “Widen the Circle” of friends at Girl Scouts of Maine. These patch program options encourage our current members to spread the word about Girl Scouting, while in turn they will:

§     Make new friends.

§     Develop new skills while helping others learn about the fun, friendship and power of girls together.

§     Help new girls join a troop where they will build courage, confidence, character, and make the

        world a better place.

§     Have fun!

1. Choose the patch program in which your troop would like to participate.

2. Complete the requirements listed.

3. Turn in the evaluation form to GSME.

Through this patch option, girls will learn about friendship and being a good friend by welcoming two new

girls to their troop and completing some fun activities.

What a wonderful way to share the Girl Scout experience that your troop has had ~ build a whole new

troop! Strengthening local Girl Scouting, creating sister troop opportunities, and building leadership and

mentoring skills…benefits abound when you recruit a new troop to your local neighborhood.

Girl Scouts has so much to offer, but getting the message out to the public can be a challenge. This patch

option encourages girls to be creative in helping to spread the word about Girl Scouting while developing

confidence and skills in public speaking, presentation, marketing, and displaying a positive image.
